The customer module allows customers to enter issue tickets and view issue tickets and allows them to see their service, install, and invoice orders. This enables an alternate means for a customer to contact the service company with their information going directly into the SMP5 database. It also allows customers to see the status of their orders. On the SMP5 side, personnel can convert issue tickets directly into service, install or invoice orders with a click of a button on the Help Deck>Issue Tickets module.
The technician webconnect allows technicians to see and update open orders: service orders, install orders, or invoice orders. This allows technicians to see all open orders assigned to them and make updates such as services performed and hours worked directly from any internet connection. |
