Here is what the different releases of Service Management Enterprise SME have to offer:
- What will you get with SME 7.0
- Customer Equipment Tree: A new capability now extends your ability to manage customer equipment, also known as customer assets or customer inventory. An entire new module was created to manage customer equipment in a tree view. The customer/site can be selected and all the equipment is reviewed in an easy to use format. It also shows the serial number, the current status of the equipment, the current location, and the audit status. You can quickly manage and track equipment based on specific customer sites and create service orders on each individual inventory item or even handle particular part returns.
- Enhanced Labor Features - Assign work by type of needs, location or certifications and then pick the appropriate technician or subcontractor from the work group. Filter your dispatch by work groups or designated zones. Labor entry has been improved and is now easier when invoicing with the use of scheduled time and billable time as well as task descriptions.
- Enhanced Inventory Features - Improved Returns and RMA's functionality providing a way to track failure analysis on vendor cost for return repairs. Separate return process for customers and vendors. Added items and fields- Ship From, Ship To, Vendor and Customer warranties, and Vendor address fields. New reconciliation feature for audit purposes.
- User Interface: A more manageable navigation window has been added as well as additional space for data entry. A newly redesigned home screen makes your many common day-to-day functions easily accessible the moment you enter the system.
- Price Books: Excellent flexibility for custom pricing schemes, margin pricing, discount pricing, etc. Set a variety of schemes up to suit just about any of your lead or customer requests.
- Smart Importing: It has never been easier to import all of your data into SME with or without QuickBooks. Now using any excel, csv (comma separated value) file you can import all of your critical data with an advanced wizard for matching and creating critical relationships between your import data and SME database.
