Utilities Module

The Utilities Modules allow you to assign global defaults, run and customize reports, and use other software utility functions. The Vehicles Module, also included with your Utilities, is described on the following page. The Reports Module provides you with one convenient location from which you may generate a variety of integrated reports for all modules throughout your SMP software. Utilities
Global Updates Allows you to perform global updates for customer rates such as taxes, labor, materials, travel, and overtime. You may also update other customer items such as trip charges, credit limits, billing terms, area codes and notifications. System Utilities Provides access to generate recurring billing invoices, purge invoices, recalculate aging and view system overview. Quick Books Data Link Allows you to set up, export and import data for your accounting software. Report Designer Allows you to customize a variety of invoices and order tickets to meet your individual needs. Customize Text Allows you to define custom field labels for the Customer Modules. Import and Export Data Allows you to set up, import and export data files for other database applications. Marketing Allows you to search your customer base for contract expirations. Labor Utilization Module Use the Labor Utilization Module to review the time your technicians spent working on service calls and installation orders, on any specific date. The Labor Utilization screen identifies each technician's total actual time, in the same easy-to-read bar graph format as provided in the Dispatch Control utility. Special Features
