Import Stock

Once you have inventory list imported, you can import stock levels.

Here are the steps:

1. First export your inventory list with the UID. You will need this UID to properly import stock quantities
   1. Go to Utilities>Export
   2. Select Inventory table
   3. Select the following fields to export:
      1. UID
      2. Name (optional to identify the item)
      3. Number (optional, should have either item name or number to identify the items)
      4. Cost
      5. Retail1
2. Export your warehouse locations with UID
3. Create at least one stock value manually, see Inventory Stock Levels
4. Export Stock as a template for importing
   1. Go to Utilities>Export
   2. Select MatDetail table
   3. Select the following fields to export:
      1. ItemUID
      2. ItemName (optional)
      3. ItemNumber (optional, should have either item name or number to identify the items)
      4. Quantity
      5. LocationUID
      6. ItemCost
      7. ItemRetail
5. Use the Inventory Export file from step 1 to enter all the stock levels
   1. Add column LocationUID and the value from step 4
   2. Add a column Quantity and set the quantity you want to import. NOTE: This is good for initial quantity or for ADDING stock, it should NOT be used for setting stock level as this will ADD the quantity set and imported.
